Christmas-Present

Well, let's see here.... Last post was December, it is now the end of July!!! Don't you just like my blogging skills?! I love doing our blog, but life takes over and I either forget, don't have time, fall asleep, you know! So Christmas.....umm that was long ago now and I don't remember what we did to be honest.Had a wonderful Christmas with the family,rang in the new year?! We did take the kids to the polar express, they seamed to uhhhh! Notice I said they and uhhh, it wasn't worth the drive to be honest oh and the $150 bucks!

Our Christmas was great as always, spent time with the families!! Kids made out like bandits as always! Don't our parents know we have toy OVERLOAD at the house?!

Here is AJ and his favorite Kindergarten teacher, he made her that tree as a gift!

March was Annabel's 4th birthday, boy was she excited to turn 4! I think she was 3 forever, but asked every day when she would turn 4. The day came and now she's asking to turn 5 already! Goodness chick be happy you're young!! You're making mommy and daddy seam very old! She thinks she is a princess, maybe because her parents are always telling her how pretty she is. Hey girls need confidence right?! And she has a brother to bring her back to reality, and tells her she's driving him crazy on a daily basis!

May is AJ's birthday and our first born turned 6! What a great little guy we have, he is into military, and baseball! He has had a busy year, he just finished up his 3rd season of baseball. He's a natural born slugger, he recently told me he wants to be a ball player when he grows up!! He is a great big brother and just a sweet guy! He is also in Tae Kwon Do, but it isn't his favorite.

Broke his first board on his 6th birthday!! June came and went, big things happened. AJ graduated Kinder, how proud we are!! He was sad to be leaving his teacher and his friends for the summer. He loves school and enjoys every bit of it.

AJ and Mrs. Manning! June also kicked off our summer, we go to Florida every year with the kids. This was our third year since we started this vacay. We load everyone up and drive on down, the kids enjoy it and know the many states we have to travel to reach our destination! This year we let AJ take a friend with him, this is just the start of many can so and so come?!

Now JULY!!!! The best month ever, I say that because it's my Birthday month!! Not that I'm excited to have turned 31 but oh well, you get better with age right?! We just celebrated with family and friends, dinner and drinks. Hubby got me a nice trip to the Dominican Republic, yes as of right now as I type this we leave in 9 days! Pics will follow I promise! Other than that July has been lazy, both kids have been sick. Many trips to the doctor and one trip to the ER. Just winding down, the last of summer till school starts up the 27th!

Time gets away from me

WOW! It is now December and my last post was September?!?! What have we been up to?
A lot has happened, the kids are in school, AJ has started Tae Kwon Do, The Holidays are creeping up really fast, Baseball is now over till the spring.
The kids are staying busy, AJ plays ball and does martial arts now days. He is loving every bit of them both. Annabel is yet to be in anything, we are waiting till she turns 4, like we did with AJ. But she is more then happy to cheer for her brother in all his activities!
We are settling into our house, as we have decided to stay here for the time being. So I am wanting to make loads of changes and make this place "HOME" Bring on the work!!
Ricky has also turned the BIG 30 in the last month, we had a nice party at the Toyota center for him in a suite for the Guns N Roses concert. Nice 8-'s theme, we had a good time.
Other then keeping up with the kids, Ricky and I are well. Staying busy with work also is a full time activity. We are just trying to get cozy in this winter weather we are having and enjoy our family time during the Christmas Holiday!!

Long Lost Blogging....

Well I seam to have wondered away from blogging for the past month and 1/2. I have been very busy this summer, with working, handling kids, keeping the house clean. It's been fun, hectic, overwhelming, tiring, I could go on. But I wouldn't trade any of it! A mother's work is never done!
Summer is coming to a close. The kids start school Monday the 22nd, AJ in kindergarten and Annabel back to Montessori school. They are both very excited, on the outside mommy is excited too. But deep down I'm sad I wont have my sidekicks with me driving me bonkers.
A few things have happened in the last few month/weeks, I had my 30th birthday in New Orleans, a group of my friends went down and we enjoyed a nice weekend! I am officially 30, whatever that means! UGH! We took the kids to Florida again this summer, just like last summer. I believe we are going to make this an annual family vacation spot for our little family. The kids love going to Florida and playing in the ocean, finding shells, splashing in the "big" pool, spending time with us and their grandparent's.
AJ is signed up for baseball for the fall, I can't wait to watch our little slugger in action again. As for Annabel we are waiting till she turns 4 to put her in anything. Just like we did AJ. But boy is she ready to be involved!
As for that goes our summer has been pretty relaxing, a lot of swimming, hanging out with friends, and family, movie nights, ice cream nights. It's been enjoyable to say the least!!

Time Flies

WOW, where has the time gone?
It's already June 1st, summer time, hurricane season, hot days ahead, screaming kids!
We had AJ's 5th birthday in May, he had an Army theme this year. He is his daddy's mini me, he plays call of duty, so he's all about soldiers.
Baseball season has come to an end for now, and soccer is soon to begin. Annabel will be starting dance soon as well. I have started helping out here at the office, so I am a working mama now! The kids last day of school was yesterday, Annabel has two more years left at Montessori School and AJ is now moving on to Kindergarten!!! So so sad! Summer has officially began....
