Annabel 3months

Annabel will be 3 months tomorrow! How time flies. She is growing so fast and she is doing very well. She holds her head up like a big girl. She is all smiles when you talk to her. She loves when Anthony talks to her, she just watches him. She is a little piggy and loves to play. Her green eyes just make me melt!! Anthony and Daddy have their hands full with this one!!

Swimming Lessons #2

Well Anthony had his 3rd swim lesson today!
We missed last Friday cause we were in Cozumel. So we made it up Wednesday. He is doing well. Much better then I expected. Just from seeing him with us in the pool and how he reacts to us not being with him. Being with a total stranger in a pool telling him to do this and do that, he has taken to it really well. He like his coach, Coach Ben. He is doing well with him. Today Coach Ben was not there he was sick. So Anthony had Miss Kealy. He wasn't sure about her. It took him a good 15 minutes to warm up to her. But when he did he was doing well. He has been going under water and jumping from the steps. All smiles here!!!

Well it is great to be home but I would love to be back on the beach!!!
We are home, back from our wonderful and beautiful vacation. We had so much fun. Of course we missed the kids dearly and couldn't wait to get back to their smiling faces.
Ricky and I had a relaxing time in Cozumel. We met some really great people.
~Monday the 16th when we arrived at about 3 we got settled into the hotel room. We walked around the resort to see where everything was. We sat at the bar and talked to people mostly. Then as it got dark we went and had dinner at one of the restaurants one the resort. Great food! That is when we meet some really nice guys. Two were from Conroe and two were from Chicago. After dinner we went to the Bar and drank some more and watched Karaoke.
~Tuesday we slept in. After waking up we went to the gym and worked out for a bit. Did breakfast. Tuesday we took it easy. we layed on the beach, we snorkeled, went swimming, Drank. Had a bite to eat for lunch. Just hung out at the resort Tuesday.
~Wednesday we went to Xcaret in Playa. We had to take the fairy over, it was a 30 min ride from Cozumel. Xcaret was a big park. We snorkeled in the underground river they have there. We walked around and saw some animals. That night we went to an awesome show they put on. They played a game that the Mayans use to play where the ball is on fire. Really neat! We also had dinner there at the show. The show also was a run down of the Mexican culture. Very nice! That was a long day we got back about 12am.
~Thursday we got up at 4am after going to bed a few hrs earlier. We were going to go swim with whale sharks and Manta rays.
Very amazing experience. They are only there 2 months out of the year and we were lucky enough to experience it. Ricky was pushed almost into the mouth of one of them. So funny I never saw him swim so fast to get away. Hahaha, so now it's a joke. I tell him it would be hard for me to explain why he got eaten by a whale shark. They want you to see them up close so they pull the boat around then push you out. They are harmless so if yo get to close they just swim faster or deeper. One guy got hit by the tail, moved him about 2 ft. I almost ran into the back of one, I realized there was his tail so I backed off a little. After that we went snorkeling at the reef. Very long day started very early.
After we were done with that we got back to Cozumel and we went shopping in town.
~Friday was a relax by the pool day. We worked out, played a little tennis. We had an hour at the spa. That was very nice. Then we sat by the pool the rest of the day. Drank Mai-Tais all afternoon and talked with some people we had meet the days before. For dinner we went into town to a local Mexican restaurant with the guys we met. That was very nice. Needed to get away from the whole resort atmosphere for a bit. Have some real drinks...haha!! One of the guys Brian ordered coffee espanol which translated into "sexy coffee" at La Casa Mission, very good stuff!! the presentation to make it was just as great. Then we hung out at the resort for a bit before heading to pack up.
~Saturday we left paradise!! Very happy to come home to the kids.
All in all it was a great vacation. We had a wonderful time.

Before Our Trip

Well I am sitting here on this quiet Monday morning. June 16th waiting for the kids to wake up and Ricky to get home. Today we are going to Cozumel!!! So excited, Ricky and I haven't been on a vacation, vacation in so long. The babies are staying with Ricky's parents and mine for the whole week. I am sad that we are leaving them.
But it gives us a chance to relax and gather our thoughts on everyday life. Get us back on track...LOL!! It's been a zoo around here at times and Ricky has been stressed with work. So for our sake and our kids this is probably best. Mommy and daddy will come back relaxed and sane!!!

Annabel 2months

Well Annabel went to the doctor for her 2 month wellness check up last week.
She is doing well, growing like a weed. She weighs 10lbs and is 23in long now!!
She still looks really small. She is smilling all the time now. She has almost
graduated to 6oz of milk. She is a piggy when it comes to feeding time. She still has all of her hair and it has gotten lighter. Her eyes are going light, I hope they turn Hazel like mommy's!!!
Anthony still loves his sister! ( lets see how long that lasts...lol )He lays next to her on the couch and loves on her. It's so cute.
All in all she is a good baby and is doing very well!!

Swimming lessons #1

Well AJ started swimming lessons today!!
So I thought it was going to be rough. Considering Anthony will only get in the water with me or Ricky. And he had no clue who coach Ben was. Even though I said Ben's name all week to get Anthony familiar with his name. Well we got there and he was so shy and very clingy to me. I kept telling him everything was ok and that he was going swimming with Phillip and coach Ben. We changed him and took him into the pool area. There was no one there just us and the people in the office. Well he found the pool toys, he was in heaven! He loves water and toys, so needless to say his eyes lit up. Phillip arrived and took Anthony's attention so I snuck out. Juliana and I sat in the look out room where the boys could see us. To my surprise Anthony didn't cry. He looked for me after realizing mommy was gone, but he found me and waived. He put goggles on and left them on the whole time. He took at it like a champ. Him and Phillip did very well. Anthony is growing up so fast and just watching him in his first "class" was a little emotional. Hahaha and I say that because he is my baby boy and he is taking a new step in life. I know it's just learning to swim but at 2 thats a big challenge. I'm so proud of him!! I will keep you posted on how his swim lessons are going through out the summer.

The Fountains

Juliana and I took the boys to the Fountains at Fellowship of The Woodlands
last week. After putting the boys in swim lessons. They start tomorrow,
first official class!!!The boys had a good time playing in the water.
Or should 4I say Phillip did anyway. AJ is going througha stage where he is
scared of everything. I hope it's a stage and he gets over it.
He played but nothing like Phillip did. It was nice to get
out and enjoy the nice weather.

Galveston/weekend

Well I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!!!
We decided we would cruise down to Galveston on Saturday!! Annabel stayed behind at pawpaw and Ni's (pronounced knee) house. AJ named my mom that cause he couldn't say nanny so it came out Ni and it stuck. We took Anthony and Brandon went with his dog Tex. We all had a good time. We cooked chicken, corn on the cob, and pineapple on the grill...mmmm so so good!! Anthony was a little scared at first but he warmed up to the water. He didn't wanna get out. We all got some sun. Anthony got some on his face but that's all. Lucky him he had a swim shirt on, plus sunscreen. We all had sunscreen on but it didn't work well on us! We look like lobsters!! But we all had a good time!!

That night we had a graduation party to go to. Ricky's cousin Sarah graduated from The Woodlands last week. Congrats Sarah!!! That was relaxing considering we had a big day already. It turned out nice.

Sunday we just stayed around the house. We were in some pain!! Ricky finally moved his 69 Chevelle home!!! He is going to start working on it!! That will be a big project but he has a lot of help!! I can't wait till it is running again. Every time I see it or get in it I think I should be wearing a pink jacket and a poodle skirt!!! Love it!! Sunday night we grilled again and had a great dinner. All in all we had a good weekend, I hope you had the same!!

Playing Around

The kids and I had a long week last week, being out of town and all.
So Sunday we relaxed and AJ went swimming with Daddy. We also went
to my parent's house were AJ went swimming again in his alligator pool.
He had a blast and he got a little sun!! Also my dad and Janice stopped by
with my grandmother. So AJ had most of his grandparent's around on Sunday
to enjoy and play with. After the sun went down we headed back home. We spent some
quality time as a family and just hung out here at the house. Ricky got alot of work
down around the house while I was gone. We go AJ a big play set for his Birthday that I can't wait for him to be able to play on. He will love it!!

The Valley

I took the kids to the Valley this past week to see Ricky's grandparent's.
I went down there with Rosie and Hector for a few days. It was a nice trip. Very very Hot!!
AJ seamed to have a good time once he opened up to everyone there. It was nice to get away for a few days.
