Annabel has rolled over!!

She is now 4 months and one day old!! She has offically rolled over. Everytime I would get out the camera to catch her in the act she would stop. Why do babies and kids do this? Everytime I would wanna catch AJ in the act he would spot me and stop. Just not fair. But I snuck up on her while she was playing and got her!!!

AJ's new game

So I thought of this idea to buy AJ some games. He's getting to the point where he can enjoy some of them now. So I headed to Toys-R-Us and I bought him a game. It's called EleFun and I thought hey that looks like some fun. So I bought it and brought it home. Well AJ loves it and wants to play all the time!! My mom bought him the fishing game. Everyone had that game growing up right? I did and I lived it. Well AJ loves it too. So now we have to go fishing and play with the elephant...haha!! Our baby is growing so fast.( don't pay any attention to me in the background..haha)

My Birthday

Well I had a wonderful Birthday Friday!! We started out at a Martini Bar in the Rice Village. It was called Mugsy's. It was nice, small, and cozy little place. Best known for their Red Apple Martini's, got Best Martini in 2007. Let me just say stay away from the Red Apple Martini!! I had 2 of them very very good!! After Mugsy's we went to another place, Called Pub Fiction. Danced a little bit. All in all I had 5 drinks and 2 shots. Not much I can usually handle that much and be ok. Well I guess after having a child 4 months ago I'm just not used to drinking anymore. Needless to say I don't remember leaving Pub Fiction, don't remember going to eat, well I never ate that night. Mistake on my part. Pretty hung over after waking up on my bedroom floor. Ricky couldn't get me in the house much less in the bed. But I did have a good night from what I can remember...haha!!
No more drinking for me for a long while!!

Weekday Outing

Today is my grandfather's Birthday! He passed away in Nov. 2005. Him and I would share our Birthday's together when I was growing up. So I miss having him around to help blow out the candles. I took the kids by to see their Angel Great Grandpa Veit.


After we stopped by to see grandpa we went to the Water Wall. AJ had never been before so I thought since we were out that way why not. At first he didn't like it. He said, " I don't like mama, I don't like it." So I started taking pictures and he opened up real quick. Get the camera out and he is all smiles! He had fun he didn't wanna leave. But it was HOT and mama was ready to go...haha!!

Annabel found her hands today!!!

Well our baby girl is getting so big so fast. I want her to stay a baby as long as she can. I took a video of her playing and looking at her hands today. She will be 4 months on the 28th of July. I can't believe how time flies.

We didn't do much just hung out. We went up to Ricky's parent's ranch house to watch fireworks. It was so hot!
I just wanted to say to my family and friend's who have served in Iraq and the ones that are still there. Thanks for your strength and courage to stand up for our freedom! God Bless you guys and please come home safe!!!

The Zoo / Mommy and me

Today was a mommy and me day! I took Anthony to the Zoo. He was asking for the animals all week. So I dropped of little miss with Tita and Anthony and I headed out for an eventful day. We got to the Zoo and he was passed out in the car. Mind you he didn't get much sleep the night before and he got up at 7:30am. So he was already exhausted and we were just getting started.
I asked him what animals he wanted to see and he said the monkey's and the eblaphants aka the elephant. So we headed off. After paying 5 dollars for him to get in the place. (He's 2, don't they have like a 12 and under kind of deal? Like kids eat free 12 and under, you would think but no!) We saw the fish first, not that interesting to him much anymore. He has a fish tank at home I guess that's good enough. So we ventured off, he kept directing me to go this and that way. So I followed orders from my 2 yr old. He knew what he wanted to see! We got to the elephants and he went wild. He wanted out of the stroller so I let him loose. After the elephants we had to find the monkeys cause he could hear them but he couldn't see them. We walked a bit, by passed some animals he had no interest in. till we came to the monkeys. He loved them! So after that we walked some more. I was hot and tired, he was not! We stopped in and had a bite to eat. They rape you there on food. I payed 20 bucks just for him and I to eat and it wasn't that good. I should have gotten a steak or something for that price. Note to self: Bring a packed lunch next visit, o and no straws they will chew you out, for safety of the animals no straws. I got a kick out of watching people ask for straws and then they got shot down and had to listen to the whole reason why they don't allow them. Very nice! The humor you find in things when you are the only adult out with your child. Life is great for him he was chowing down on his hotdog and chips.
After lunch we went to the gift shop. I like to get him a little something when we visit places. So we got him a little tiger and giraffe stuffed animal and he picked out Annabel a pink monkey. Then we headed to the train. We can't leave the zoo without riding the train, it's a must. After the train it was time to head home. I was thinking great he will be very tired and pass out in the car on the way home. Haha, he had other plans. He was up the whole time, no nap for little guy today. but all in all it was a great mommy and me day!! I had a blast and he got to see the animals.

Annabel got in the pool for the first time Monday!!!
She did well, didn't cry or anything. Anthony is doing really good with his swimming. He has gotten used to wearing his floaties.
