MS150 2009

Well I wanted to wait till I had more pictures, but I guess I can always add more later. Most of you know Ricky has an MS150 team. Last year was his first year to ride. I got to join the team and ride this year!! I was so excited and nervous and overwhelmed. I didn't know what to do with myself. Well Josh prayed for Hurricane like weather and God seamed to fit that into the schedule. The fist day was canceled, no part of the ride has ever been canceled in the last 25 years. Let it be know the first time I ride this happens! Well deep down I was bummed but at the same time I was screaming for joy!! But we did manage to get 20 miles in on Saturday, so that was good! We stayed in La Grange over night and rode out Sunday at 8am and headed to Austin. It was a long and fun ride I must say. Half the team finished way before the other half did. Me along with 3 others all finished at 5! Ricky waited for us and crossed the finish with us, and I thought that was great, having our team Capitan and my husband there for us!! So 74 miles and 9 hrs later we crossed the Finish with all smiles and a sunburn! It was fun and I will do it again anytime...with more practice that it! I need to get faster, 9 hrs on a bike is just crazy! Ricky, me, and Edward are doing the Dallas MS150 May 2nd and 3rd....Wish us Luck!!

Zoey

We have a new addition to the family....
AJ has been wanting a dog. We have no clue where he has gotten this idea from. But for a month now you ask him what he wants for his Birthday and he says, "A dog." So Ricky and I have been doing some research lately to find the perfect dog for our family. We have had two dogs in the past. Not wanting to get rid of either one but under some different circumstances we had to. Dazz our little Italian Greyhound was way to hyper to put around a new born baby (Anthony) So when we moved before AJ was born we gave him to a friend of ours. Donzi our adopted Greyhound we had him for 4 years, we had to get rid of him because he bit AJ on the face. Very sad day here at the Villarreal home. But we know he was adopted into a nice home!!! Then we had Samus our very sweet cat, she found us one stormy night. So we took her in, well come to find out after Annabel was born we was allergic to Samus and Ricky had an allergic reaction to her as well. So we had to put her in a better home, so she is now at my dad's house and him and Janice love her as much as we did. Well this brings us to Zoey, Ricky has been reading up on Golden Retrievers and has fallen in love with them. A friend of his had one and says they are the best family dogs. So we did more research and now we have one! She is 6 weeks old and the kids love her. Zoey and AJ chase each other around Annabel likes to pat her back. She really is what we were looking for in a dog, and the kids will be able to grow with her.

Easter 2009

I hope everyone had a Great Easter!!
We had a good day yesterday, hanging with the family. The kids had a blast hunting for eggs, they also played a game. They raced with hard boiled eggs on a spoon. Interesting to watch the two little ones do it!!! The kids had candy, played in the pool, jumped in the bouncer. They were all exhausted by the days end. And they even had Easter Sundaes!!! hahaha =) We all did, the kid in all of us came out! AJ got me with a confetti egg, he loved doing that. We went to Church Friday since we were all pretty busy Saturday and Sunday. Church was amazing!

2009 Montgemory Cook-Off

We took the kids to the cook-off a few weeks ago. (I know I need to update this thing more often!) My cousin has a cook-off team and we go pretty much every year, and enjoy some good Bar-B-q. This was Annabel's first year going and AJ's 2nd. AJ is tall enough to ride a few rides and enjoy a lot more now. PawPaw, Ni, and Uncle Richard took the kids to see all the animals and they loved it. Later that night we took the kids and walked around the carnival for a few. Ricky and some of his friends rode a carnival ride. (Crazy!) Daddy took AJ to see some weird animals out of a freak show or something. But I don't think he knew it was not normal. He saw a two headed turtle and a two nosed cow. Weird! That was a daddy and son thing. Then I took him on his first roller coaster. He Loved it!! He had a blast. Both kids were out before we reached the Hwy.

Bluebonnets 2009

My parent's and I took the kids to see and play in the bluebonnets. My mother has a co-worker who has some land in Plantersville. The land is covered with blue and it was so beautiful. AJ was a little grumpy but he had a good time. Annabel chased butterflies and AJ and pawpaw caught one. He was so excited!! After we left there AJ asked," What's next mommy?" I said, "I don't know, where do you want to go?" He said. "The Lake!" So we went to Lake Conroe and had an ice cream and fed the ducks. We had a great day!!!
